Separating a mind from a heart
We draw the lines from the end to the start
knowing is different than feeling
Though we ain't sure how to draw the charts
The motion of life only comes from the timeless hands
that spins the wheel despite of our resistance
And through shifting days of november, I called out you name
A fortress without the need of a defender, I saw in your face
What if living is a loving thing
Nothing belongs to us, it's all borrowed
What if leaving is a loving thing
We don't own this world, just count on tomorrow
What if leaving is a loving thing
if it's love it returns, so to love is to let go
yeah, Living each day at a time
We choose and surrend to the wars we'll fight
Yeah, Leaving each day at a time
we'll just take ahead what seems to be right
The motion of life only comes from the timeless hands
that spins the wheel despite of our resistance
Emotion in life only comes from the surprising joy
that love always comes to the broken hearts first
And through shifting days of november, I called out you name
A fortress without the need of a defender, I heard you saying
What if living is a loving thing
Nothing belongs to us, it's all borrowed
What if leaving is a loving thing
We don't own this world, just count on tomorrow
What if leaving is a loving thing
if it's love it returns, so to love is to let go
I wait, as a matter of trust
So please, return to us.
